摘要:
A dendrimer nanostar is a tree-like highly branched polymer molecule. Dendrimer nanostars are synthesized from monomers with new branches added in discrete steps to form a tree-like architecture. They have some proven applications, and numerous potential applications. Let G is a connected graph with vertex set V and edge set E, the Hosoya index of a graph is defined as the total number of its matchings. We obtain exact formulas for calculating the Hosoya index of dendrimer nanostars.

摘要:
The terminal wiener index (TIN) of a tree T was defined recently by Gutman et al [1] as TW(T)= Sigma(e=uv is an element of E(T)) n(e;u)n(e;v), where n(e;u) is the number of pendent vetices in T lying closer to u than to v. In this paper, we first introduce a new topological index, named modified terminal wiener index (MTW), by extending the definition of terminal wiener index to any connected graph. Then we investigate the mathematical property of MTW and compute the MTW for a type of dendrimer nanostars.

摘要:
If G is a (molecular) graph with n vertices, and di is the degree of its i-th vertex, then the sum-connectivity index of G is the sum of the weights (du + dv)-1/2 of all edges uv of G. A polyomino system is a finite 2-connected plane graph such that each interior face (or say a cell) is surrounded by a regular square of length one. Formulas for calculating the sum-connectivity index of polyomino chains are provided.

For a graph G = (V, E), the modified Schultz index of G is defined as S*(G)= Sigma({u, v} subset of V(G)) (d(G)(u) . d(G)(v))d(G)(u, v) where d(G)(u) (or d(u)) is the degree of the vertex u of G, and d(G)(u, v) is the distance between u and v. Let U(n) be the set of unicyclic graph with n vertices. In this paper, we study the modified Schultz index of U(n) by introducing some transformations. Unicyclic graphs with the maximum and minimum modified Schultz index are determined.

摘要:
For many molecular structure descriptors the Volkmann tree Vn,d is extremal among n-vertex trees in which no vertex has degree greater than d. For this important class of (molecular) graphs, formulas for the general sum-connectivity, geometric-arithmetic index and Wiener polarity indices are given.

摘要:
This paper deals with an impulsive stochastic fuzzy cellular neural networks with both time-varying and infinite distributed delays. Based on M-matrix theory and stochastic analysis technique, a sufficient condition is obtained to ensure the existence, uniqueness, and global exponential p-stability of the equilibrium point for the addressed impulsive stochastic fuzzy cellular neural network with mixed delays. Moreover a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of stability results.

摘要:
The Omega polynomial of a connected graph G, denoted by Ω(G,x), is defined as, and the Sadhana polynomial of G is defined as, where m(G, c) is the number of strips of length c and |E(G)| is the number of edges in G. In this paper, the Omega and Sadhana polynomials are computed for the pericondensed benzenoid graphs.
