A fluorine-containing polyimide(FPI) was synthesized by reacting 4,4'-(hexafluoroisopropylidene) diphthalic anhydride (6FDA) with 2,2'-bis-(trifluoromethyl)-4,4'-diaminobiphenyl (TFDB). A series of polyimide composite films with various contents of nanosilica were prepared by an in situ polymerization technique. The obtained composite materials were analyzed with FTIR and the results showed that the amino groups were completely imidized.
