A fluorine-containing polyimide(FPI) was synthesized by reacting 4,4'-(hexafluoroisopropylidene) diphthalic anhydride (6FDA) with 2,2'-bis-(trifluoromethyl)-4,4'-diaminobiphenyl (TFDB). A series of polyimide composite films with various contents of nanosilica were prepared by an in situ polymerization technique.
