Seasonal changes and cyclical human activities (such as periodic fishing bans, Wolbachia -based mosquito population control, and school term breaks) have significant impacts on population dynamics. We propose a general switching dynamical model to describe these periodic changes. The existence, uniqueness and stability of positive periodic solutions are thoroughly investigated.
