In this paper, a green hydrophobic deep eutectic solvent (HDES) composed of menthol and hexanoic acid was employed to dissolve cosmetics containing Cd2+ and Cd2+ was extracted using an EDTA-2Na saturated solution, analyzed by FAAS.
