A heteropolyanion-containing polypyrrole/carbon nanotube modified electrode has been fabricated through entrapment of phosphomolybdic acid (H 3PMO12O40) in polypyrrole (PPy) film on multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) modified gold electrode. The electrochemical behavior and the electrocatalytic property of the modified electrode were investigated in acidic solution. Compared with the H 3PMo12O40/PPy/gold electrode, the H 3PMo12O40/PPy/MWNTs/gold electrode has shown enhanced electrocatalytic property to the reduction of nitrite. Steady-state ...
