Abstract: In this study, ramie fiber is used as raw materials and modified by sodium hydroxide with different mass concentration. It was found that the surface of modified ramie fiber became rough and had a lot of pore structure, and the number of hydroxyl groups on the surface of ramie fiber decreased and the hydrophobicity and lipophilicity of ramie fiber increased, which is beneficial to improve oil absorption.
