Four high‐performance steel (HPS) beams are designed, the flexural bearing capacity test is carried out. The theoretical flexural strength of the corroded HPS beam under different failure modes is obtained, which is compared with the simulation results. Finally, the residual flexural properties of corroded HPS beams under different corrosion conditions are studied. This article undertakes the tested and theoretical investigations on the flexural behaviors of high‐performance steel (HPS) beams subjected to local corrosion in pure bending zone....
