To improve the accuracy and precision of the offshore direct-drive wind farm (PMSG) equivalence model, this paper proposes a dynamic equivalence method for offshore PMSG wind farms based on the improved R-K clustering algorithm. The method selects suitable cluster indicators, clusters the indicator data using the improved R- K clustering algorithm, and then equates the offshore PMSG wind farms to multiple wind turbines based on the capacity-weighting method to achieve dynamic equivalence of PMSG wind farms.
