基于对所在学校音体美专业学生的一次问卷调查得出的结论即现有通用教材严重导致了"学生难学、教师难教"的局面,笔者主张从以下两个方面对音体美专业大学英语教学进行改革:在教材选择和使用方面,要么寻求和使用更合适的本科大学英语通用教材,要么组合使用高职高专英语教材和某本科大学英语教材,要么创新使用现有教材以变不合适的教材为合适的教材;在教学方面,音体美专业大学英语教学的教师急需树立注重基础夯实、强化学法指导的教学理念,在教学中全面贯彻"因材施教"原则。
