词气是中国词学批评史上重要的批评话语, 在批评视野中的词气说的发展轨迹大致有四个时期:萌芽期, 由"气"引入词学批评而为"词气"; 升格期, 在词学批评著作中涌现出众多的以气评词论人; 深化期, 晚清著名词学家谢章铤重视"词气", 形成较完善的"词气"论; 升华期, "词气"理论范畴进一步完善, 最终在王国维的词学境界说中得到升华, 以境界统领替代词气.

＂Ciqi＂ is an important theory category in the history of Chinese Ci-ology criticism,and its development has four periods： germination： from ＂Qi＂ to ＂Ciqi＂ in Ci-ology criticism;promotion： Ci-ology criticism works and critics emerging;deepening period： Xie Zhangting of Late Qing Dynasty forming ＂Ciqi＂ theory;and sublimation： the theory further consummating,finally in Wang Guowei＇s Theory of Ci-ology Ideal State obtaining sublimation...
