According to the mechanical theory, this paper deduces the dynamic relationship between settlement and temporal variation in void ratio under large-area loading. The in-situ e-t curves and e-p curves of hydraulic fill in the process of drainage consolidation are inverted with the observed data of telescoping tube settlement gauge pre-buried in hydraulic fill.
