地理设计技术应用是科学编制城乡规划的一项有力技术支撑,也是未来城乡规划技术应用与创新的发展趋势.通过当前地理设计技术的多维度分析可知,地理设计在城乡规划的应用主要涵盖宏观顶层决策、重点地段开发与建设、特定专项研究3大层面.城乡规划中地理设计要素构建依赖于其模型和框架的构建.地理设计在城乡规划中的应用导向主要体现在创新调查研究、协同数据、系统分析等方面.
