汉语言区别于西方印欧语系的根本之处在于它的模糊性。汉语言的模糊美感在音、形、意三方面体现得淋漓尽致。然而在汉英翻译过程中,译者无时无刻不在品味遗憾,而汉英翻译的最大遗憾莫过于汉语模糊美感在英译过程中的磨蚀。翻译过程中模糊美感磨蚀的成因主要来自英汉语法结构差异和意境营造失真两个方面。
