The ultimate bearing capacity test was carried on CFST arch bridge model with CFRP slings, and the strain of CFRP slings, tie-beams and CFST arch was tested. Studies have shown that the strain of east and west CFRP slings have good symmetry under every load level. The CFRP slings strain at mid-span section is the maximum, the strain at 3L/8(5L/8) sections is larger, the strain at L/4(3L/4) sections is less, and the strain at L/8(7L/8) section is the minimum.
