This paper observed the changes of neuropeptide substance (calcitonin gene related peptide, CGRP; neuropeptide Y, NPY) level and its effects on bone mineral density, using the method of cutting off the nerves and fixing the hind legs. We found that: The content of NPY was highly related with BMD in denerved and immobilized groups. It can be observed as a key factor of Osteoporosis' formation.
